Amanda Birnstengel

As Operations Manager, Amanda is responsible for accounting, HR and other operational areas. She also works closely with the building team to lay out museum spaces and ensure they will function well for MIM's guests and team. Amanda comes to MIM from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts where she ran the visitor services function for approximately 500,000 visitors a year. Prior to the MIA she spent nine years working at Select Comfort as it grew from a start-up company to a publicly traded, $200 million-a-year company. Amanda holds a BA in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
